You are correct. I have external flashes and all the brackets (GAS factor). Was too lazy to carry them. Will do better next time

When using a Nikon D750 with the kit lens at 24-28mm indoors with built in flash do not keep the lens shade on. Creates shadows. I should have known, but forgot.

I am reviving my Hasselblad 500C. Has anyone used the 50mm F4 lens? What is your opinion?

You are correct this works, but will create double exposures. The bottom line the back needs to be fixed. The voice of experience.

Had same problem with a 500C. The gears in the back had to be fixed. Cost was close to $200. I took the back to my local camera shop, Action Camera, Roseville, CA. They sent it out. Very few places actually work on Hasselblad.

As a former camera shop employee (many years ago), what I really disliked was the person who bragged that he or she bought from my cheaper competition and then came back to me for instruction. I would politely decline to provide the instruction saying my knowledge was worth the difference in price. I would then suggest they return to my competition for instruction.

Or if they make a certain number of shipments to the state. B&H does not have a physical presence in California.

I live in California. Visited B&H today in NYC. Was told that as of April 15, B&H will be collecting California sales tax. Didn't ask about other states.

Ok fellow Hoggers, now you have done it.

A little history, back in my high school and college days (1963-1970), I managed a camera store, was my own best customer due to a case of GAS. One of the "gadgets " I acquired was a Hasselblad 500C.

Recent posts made me get out. Now testing, everything seems fine. Will know when first roll of film is processed. Always wanted the 250mm lens, 54 years ago, but it cost about $2000. Found one on EBay for $125. I am taking a chance. I've wasted $100 many times before.

Incidentally, 120 Kodacolor film was 96 cents, and processing was $3.12 for 12 prints 1970.

B&W film was $6.75 yesterday. Need to find a processor for B&W, local lab will only do color for $23.00 per roll. May have to go to color just to see if camera and "lens" work.

That's my story and I am sticking to it.
