I purchased three from Shutterfly for Xmas. The 550 piece was a bit pricy and the overall size of the pieces and total size is small...so I'd look elsewhere.

I have used Shutterfly puzzle for many of my photos. They do have a variety of sizes to choose from. I did find that the quality of the printing is not the greatest. When you start putting the puzzle together - seems like some of the ink wears off. I complained to the company and they sent me a new puzzle.

I'm going to be that way next march on a photo shoot with Charles Needle.

What lenses are you using to shoot the old cars?

Is it possible you are using the wrong lens. I have an Olympus MK III and it does in camera focus stacking. But it has to be with certain Olympus lenses. Never with any of my Panasonic lenses. Just a thought.
I'm not familiar with Nikon equipment.

Nice image of the bird. However, I would take out all those white circles that appear in the image. They are very distracting from an otherwise excellent image.

It's a nice shot, but hope you don't mind a little constructive criticism. I know dof is a totally subjective matter, but I think the leaf could use a little more sharpness toward the top. And I feel the bottom of the leaf is a tad too close to the bottom of the frame. JMHO
Also, I don't understand the title. You say a polarizer is not always needed to remove glare, but your photo proves the opposite. When you removed the polarizer you got glare. which I agree in this instance is a great effect.
It's a nice shot, but hope you don't mind a little... (show quote)

I like to look at other peoples work and see what they do and learn from them. And I like to hear what other people have to say also. In this case I think I am in agreement in you recommendations. JMHO

Very nice. If it were my image, I would photoshop out the stems on the left side. Then I would really be a perfect photo.

Why not shoot in "Focus Stacking" mode to get a greater DOF

Mike Moats - professional MACRO photographer built this box for wind protection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUhbhXbslW4
Works great.

What is the down load speed recommendation for a Memory Card for my Olympus OM-D E M1-MK III camera. It has the burst mode capability.
Sequential shooting the Olympus is capable of 10 fps to 60 fps.

B&H as a SAN Disk card 128MB-KEY FEATURES: 128GB Storage Capacity UHS-I / Class 10 / U1 Max Read Speed: 100 MB/s Min Write Speed: 10 MB/s on sale for $16.99. Not a bad price. But the description says: Suitable for compact to mid-range point and shoot cameras- which my Olympus is not a point and shoot.

You nailed it - I love LR and the catalog-filter search system it has. I add key words to my images and bang no matter where they are in my LR catalog system- the image pops up. I don't rely on my memory to tell me where and when I took a photo. It's a great technology.

To all you LR haters - do what you want, use what you want, more power to you. But stop bad mouthing a good/great program like LR. If you don't like it, don't use is. What, you looking for someone to validate your ideas. Or you want to start an argument. Go some place else.

I have a personal umbrella policy with my homeowners insurance. (Allstate)

I'm not so sure that the umbrella policy will cover your camera equipment. My understanding is that an umbrella policy will cover your liability above what your home owners covers. If you have 100K liability coverage on your HW policy and someone sues you for 500K the umbrella policy will cover the 400K over amount. I have Allstate and a umbrella policy. But I have a rider for my camera equipment. You might want to check with your agent on what YOUR umbrella policy covers.
