Interest in Old Car City - Sat Nov 13?

I'm rolling through north Georgia on a longer trip to Florida. Weather forecast looks good for White, Georgia this coming weekend. Their site says they're open Tues - Sat and I won't get in until too late on Friday, so Saturday will have to crush the entire 9am to 4pm availability. Shoot me a PM to coordinate, if interested.

I'm not able to drive 700+ miles each way on a whim, but if you're ever within 100 miles or so or South Jersey/Philly make that offer again. I would like to spend a day with a more talented Hedge Hogger than myself. I'd even buy your lunch.

Alas Jimmy, my multi-year assignments to Harrisburg, PA and Washington, DC are now years in the past. Back then, a trip into / thru Philly was a regular event. Next time.

Paul, I am 1/2 mile south of Chattanooga on I-75 and would love to meet with you at Car City, however health issues prevent it. Enjoy your trip and be careful.

I've done most of my lens portfolio over the past 5ish years at OCC. I like the 16-35 for low, close and wide. I've also done the 35mm on one camera and 50mm on the second, such as digital and film. I like something longer for close-ups / macro, either a 135mm prime or 70-200 zoom. A tripod isn't a must, but helps with composition and framing, and lets me shoot really slow shutter speeds such as B&W film with colored filters in muted light. This year I'll probably be back to 35, 50 and 135.

What an opportunity!! I love old cars and photographing old cars and after seeing your past photos from here I've always wanted to go. I'd really enjoy meeting and taking photos with you too!
