Thank you so much, sippyjug!
These are a few shots of the lovely flowers that my daughters gave me for my birthday a few weeks ago. I wish fresh flowers lasted as long as photos of them last!!!
A friend sent me a link to photography crystal balls and I remembered that I already have one! Tried it when I first got it ... and got frustrated very quickly. It has been in my drawer ever since haha! Anyway, I decided to give it another try. Still VERY challenging, but I thought these images were interesting enough to share. Not sure I am going to spend my time with the crystal ball again, a lot of work for little gain in my opinion hahaha! Thanks for viewing!
In December I upgraded from the Canon T3i to the Canon 6D Mark ii and I am thrilled with the full frame!! I also love that it has much more ISO range. Only drawback is that it does not have built in flash, but it is easy to add an auxillary flash. The full frame is pricier (i timed my purchase to holiday sales), but I figured that I would not be purchasing another camera for a long time. You may want to check it out before finalizing your decision on the 80. Happy shopping!
I realize I missed the challenge, but I reallly like this photo of my daughter at her friend's wedding!
I missed the deadline, but still wanted to share this beautiful tree I captured in the fall of 2019. One half was more than ready for the upcoming winter. But the other half was definately hanging onto summer!
Well I have found a partial silver lining for our shelter in place directive ... I have found myself with more time on my hands! Was finally able to get outside for a few minutes this morning to blow the dust off of my camera!!
My apologies...have not had time lately to get on UHH. WOW! Thank you all for your kind comments and lovely birthday wishes for my grandmother. I guess a silver lining to the shelter in place order is that my life has slowed down. Maybe I can get behind the lens and on UHH more now!!

This is my lovely grandmother who just turned 100 years old! The photo was taken a few days before her actual birthday at the birthday open house that was held for her. She is in amazing health and the kindest person you will ever meet! Isn't she cute!! I am a very lucky person to still have her in my life .... And to be swimming in her gene pool!!
Showing just how "technology challenged" that I am ...I am forced to ask for instructions on how to post in the challenges. I know how to open a new topic and post in my profile, but I cannot figure out how to link to a published challenge, specifically "trees". Thanks!
