This is my lovely grandmother who just turned 100 years old! The photo was taken a few days before her actual birthday at the birthday open house that was held for her. She is in amazing health and the kindest person you will ever meet! Isn't she cute!! I am a very lucky person to still have her in my life .... And to be swimming in her gene pool!!

Then you are truly blessed. I loved my grandparents. They came to this country, brought their children. One, later my mother. As they got older their version of English diapered and they reverted to their native tongue. Thankfully as children we were taught how to speak Italian.
OK now I'm going to cry.....thank you for reminding me of them.

Wow, she was born when Harding was President. She remembers The Depression of the 1930s and WW2. That's something that few can remember today. She looks great too.

That is wonderful. I lost my maternal and paternal grandparents while I was still young but I keep on remembering them. My father died at 103.
