What a fine young man and some fine grandparents to support as well! You have every right to be proud of him. We wish him and you the very best as he serves his country with pride and honor!

We went to Kenya and Tanzania this past May on a photo safari. We used a Tamron 18–400 lens lens on a Nikon 7500 crop camera. Took over 900 pictures with mostly superb results. There were only a very few occasions when we wished we had the 150 to 600 lens. For weight, size, and dependability, as others have said this is a great lens. Enjoy your trip! We sure did!

We are in total agreement! The only “shots” taken should be with a camera. We also saw some very old bulls that were stately and regal in their natural element. What a blessing to experience these regal creatures so close up !

My wife and I were there from May 1st through the 15th. I think you captured few of the same elephants we did and you did a beautiful job! We also ended up at Giraffe Manor. Wasn't it fun to be up on the 2nd floor, face to face with thee magnificent, gorgeous creatures! Thanks for sharing and helping us re-live memories that will stay with us for a lifetime!

Europe has some gorgeous mountains, but Alaska may top them all! You have certainly captured the beauty and ruggedness of the place. Thank you for your work and for sharing!!

My opinion, for what it's worth is: you have every right to be pleased with this photo--it is beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing the background behind the hummingbird.

Thanks very much for sharing.

I bought this lens this past April and took it to Kenya and Tanzania for a photo safari the first two weeks of May. It is such a versatile lens I ended up using it for about 80% of my photos. In spite of the dust and some heat I never had a problem with it and would highly recommend it as an almost do all travel lens. Sure saves you from carrying more weight and more chances to break another good lens.
