Saw this Great Blue Heron at a local pond one heavily overcast morning. The water surface was mirror like reflecting the overcast. Saw this yellow leaf drifting slowly along the bottom of the pond and waited for it to drift into the reflection of the Heron. Photo may not be technically perfect but it is one of my favorite heron pics.

A high-impact image IMO. The leaf is lagniappe. The gentle light vignette adds to the mood of serenity in the fog (maybe not so serene if the GBH found its breakfast moments later 
).

This is a big WOW for me! Your attention to detail (waiting for the leaf) would have been missed by most, and gives this photo that little unique something extra.
