So full of life as only they can give humans life. From the moment of conception their body is developing for that purpose. I am fortunate to have four granddaughters and four great-granddaughter. They are all a joy.

I was born in 1935 in such a house in north Alabama. I did not know it was logs until we began tearing it down in 1949. Identical fireplaces in each room. About 1880 shed type rooms were added on rear of each room as now they had a cook stove and eating area. The boys slept in other shed/lean-to and it later became storage with shelving for canned goods of which they put up 6-700 jars (pints, quarts and 1/2 gallon sizes) The first part(s) were built in early 1850's and original forty acres is still in our family as a working farm.

Same cubic inch engine, same shape, same tires, same fuel. There are no parts on any car that is on the car you drive. The names Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet mean nothing. Nothing at all. Quit watching it 25 years ago.

My sentiments exactly. I know my photos are not as flashy as most on this site, (one reason I don't post) but when I see a photo of anything or anyone here I wonder how they/it really look. The same holds true for all magazine photos.
I worked for a dealer of heavy equipment and they sent down two photographers to take photos of a new machine working. The operator/owner wanted some pictures of what they did. Two months later we received about a pickup load of pictures, enough to wallpaper two rooms of his office with a lot left over. Back then they could touch up but not alter the way one can now.

Alabama just passed a law, on any four lane and no left turn for 1 1/2 miles will get you a ticket.

Cotton ginning is a rather slow process but 40 times faster than years ago when we would sit in line for hours for our turn. The long bales covered with tarps are picked cotton and stored that way at gin and in fields until their turn, It takes several months to get all of it processed. It looks like the round bales are more of the same. After ginning a 500 pound bale will be about 4' high and a diameter of about 42'' wrapped in burlap and tightly held with steel strapping.

A lot of Huey pilots can't hear it thunder. The noise made by the helicopters took the eardrums out years ago.

Please continue the numbering of your contributions to "Art?" That way I know to never open the crap you have turned out with 100% consistency.

We are not too far from 63 years of wedded bliss. Each morning I rub and massage her back from neck to buttocks and then I do my lower back. On both I use the pain killer Diclofenac. Getting older is hell bur better than the alterative.

An update on a computer with Windows 10. I keep off so no "bugs" can enter took 6 hours to install and restart, other two computers I leave on and had no such problem. Now I'm afraid to see what all it deleted and destroyed.
