I've been on three cruises, and the only problem i had had nothing to do with the food! Food was wonderful. The OCEAN was not! I'm NOT a sailor!

Try hitting the mouthpiece on your open hand, several times. Loosens up the carbon granules in the old carbon mike. Should cure the static. Ex-telephone man's trick! Doesn't work with the new phones, just the old ones like this one!

Congratulations, Laura! I am a musician (theatre organist), and I heard a world-class friend give this criticism, "Not better, nor worse! Just different"! Not quite sure, but I believe that some cards (probably the more expensive ones) are capable of faster writing, hence would be better for taking multiple images. Is that correct?

I'm technically "good" with an all-manual K-1000, but my wife has a far better "eye" allowing much better pictures, which shows me that she would make a far-better photographer! We'll see, as I recently obtained a used DSLR for her! As to "knowing the tech", she doesn't, but still can "see" a picture.

I'm a Toyota man, myself. Wife drives a Honda, and daughter's boyfriend drives a Suburu. We've got them all covered! Used to be a Chevvy man, but I also had a couple of Fords over the years! Perhaps I should have used "Nikon or Canon" or "Pentax or Leica"?

Looks like a walnut tree. The lower portion is usually one variety chosen for its hardiness, and the top portion chosen for its flavour. In our area (Lake County, CA) walnuts are a big crop, so we see many grafted trees like this one.

I'm not affected by a "trigger finger", but I do have poor circulation, and as a result my hands are almost always cold. I wear gloves at night, and it has mitigated the problem significantly. I'm an organist/pianist, so finger movement is important!

OH, YES! The hair from the top of my head just migrated to my ears and nose! I'm not "skin-head bald", just enough hairs up there to call attention to the fact that they're ALL ALONE! ";-)

LUCKY YOU! My teeth are fine, but my hair is GONE! Well, not exactly gone, but migrated to the sides, requiring me to wear a hat 24/7, not because of vanity, but because my head gets COLD!
