I have a Mac Mini M2 Pro and also use a Samsung SSD to store current photos that I'm working on. If you use Time Machine for regular system backups, you can include any external drives for backup via the Time Machine settings by using the + or - buttons to include or exclude any external drive. If you don't use Time Machine, I would suggest a second external drive for copying files from your current Samsung SSD. Each month, I back up all my RAW photos from that particular month to two external HDDs (HGST brand) so that I have two copies in case one of the HDDs fails.

I used the Google translate app on my iPhone, set to auto-detect language with the phone's camera. The top line says "Chinese drama Dr. Zheng", and the bottom line reads "Produced by Chenguan Lantian Craft Factory, Shen County, China, Zhejiang"

My previous Windows laptop had an SD card slot built in. My current Macbook Air needed a little dock for SD slot, which was well worth buying because of the other slots I also needed.

Remove card from camera, insert into the slot. The folder appears on desktop. Drag folder of pics to desktop where it copies automatically to a new folder. Eject the drive (SD card), and return card to camera.

If you don't put feed out when the birds should be moving to warmer climates They will migrate and not be in danger of freezing.
So you are doing the birds NO favors!! Only increasing your opportunities to view and photograph the.
We used to put feeders out during the warmer months so my wife could enjoy their antics.
We always took the feeders down in Sept. and I never found a dead bird in my yard, the following spring the feeders were put back up and for 20 years they birds came back every spring.
When Ruthie passed away from cancer in April 2015 I left the feeders up until fall.
The birds will survive on their own.

Was she using a lens that does not have a built-in autofocus motor? Since the D5000 does not have a built-in focus motor, it would need such lenses (Nikkor AF-S, AF-P type, for example) in order for autofocus to work.

Check your camera's firmware, because Nikon had issued firmware for the D850 to support CFexpress cards:

Changes from ā€œCā€ Firmware Version 1.11 to 1.20
ā€¢ Added supported for CFexpress cards (Type B). For more information, see the Nikon support website for your country or region.

I'll take credit for the "Birds" section, as I lobbied with Admin for that a few years ago since the Main section was overrun by Bird pictures.

Next section I'd like to see removed from Main is "Flowers" or "Plants" or "Horticulture"...anything to remove all those from Main and put them separate. Presently all those overrun the Main.

Admin, are you listening?

I always have trouble updating maps. The computer has trouble finding it.

Remember when map updates cost $75? that was awful.

The update cost(s) was the primary reason I gave up my Garmin. I've been using Google Maps on my iPhone exclusively for the past 10 years.
