Another good economical combination might be a Mac mini, and a 27” third party monitor, like LG or HP.
I used to run Mac towers and multi monitors. Nowadays, my MacBook Pro sits clammed shut, and drives an HP 27” (which replaced a dead apple 27” Thunderbolt Display). Scanner, etc all connected through an OWC thunderbolt 3 dock.

A couple of travel photos from our RV trip to Michigan last week. The feel and color of autumn was just coming around the corner. Leaves are the theme here of course.
A familiar sight on the “Pictured Rocks” boat ride.
Petoskey has nice shops and restaurants in its historic downtown.
Another leafy theme in Northern MI currently is apple time.
