Just throwing this out there. I've been looking at images from Nikon's 50mm f1.2 and have decided to spring for one. Please post if you have one to sell. I'm thinking the newer 9 blade aperture would be preferable since the 7 blade AI also has a weird filter thread. It would be nice to have a hood as well since I shoot in bright 🌞 quite a bit.

Also does anyone have the 58mm f1.2? I already have a pretty fast 58mm that I use but this was a legendary lens after all.

Yes. I have the 58 and I wear it out. I was considering either the new Voigtlander 40 or an old Nikon 50.

Just fyi, I ended up finding a 50/1.2 from an Ebay/Japan seller. It is in very fine condition and amazingly was made in the late 70s and sold for under $300. I look forward to posting a few pics.

I still have a pre Ai 55mm f1.2 that my father bought and the same 50mm f1.2 Ai-s I acquired from an older gentlemen selling 8 Nikkor lenses plus 2 film bodies for $300 on craigslist. He was just trying to downsize and clean out the clutter. My best purchase to date of older lenses. I'm 65 and to me these things are jewels so having a bit of a nostalgic period using the old MF Nikkor lenses. Love it
