The iPhone 6's had a camera recall. We took ours to the Apple store and they swapped out camera lenses in store.
When wife got hers back, she opened the camera app, screen was black!
Told them right then and there - they replaced the entire phone.
So, it may be more of an internal problem that a hard/soft reset won't fix. Since your 5 is probably not covered by insurance, upgrade and get at least the 7.

Looks like old Carswell AFB. I used to be stationed there. Spectators should be facing west. Sun likely to be on your left, depending on time of day. If you can, stop by Horace Carswell's grave at the headquarters building to pay respects. Interesting fact... He is the only medal of honor recipient buried on the base named after him.

The airshow is held at Alliance airport, north of Ft Worth.
As far as where Maj Carswell is buried, at one time he was moved on base in front of HQ building. When the base closed down the active duty commitment, he was moved again.

This is from the TSHS (Texas State Historical Society)

On February 26, 1948, Carswell was buried in east Fort Worth at the Rose Hill Cemetery. To honor the Texas hero, Carswell was reburied at Carswell Air Force Base on October 9, 1986. After the base was closed in 1993, Carswell’s body was taken in dignified ceremonies to the north side of Fort Worth to Oakwood Cemetery, a historic cemetery, and buried in the Carswell Memorial Park. His parents’ remains were also moved and buried beside their son.

If your friend wants to see bears in the rivers catching salmon, he will have to find out when the salmon are expected to make their run upstream!
We were up there this year from 21 July - 4 Aug. Weather was perfect. Our day in Denali was overcast, and a few sprinkles of rain. Worked out perfect for seeing Moose, Grizzly Bears (12 total), most had cubs and a few singles. We saw a boat load of caribou and dall sheep.
The salmon were starting their run and bears had been reported to be headed to the rivers.
We couldn't see Mt Denali while in the park, too many clouds. When we got to Talkeetna, the Mt was still covered, but later in the day/evening we saw nearly totality. Less than 30% of the visitors see totality, it quickly became covered in clouds again. They say it makes it's own weather due to the 20,320' elevation.

Beautiful area and great suggestions by everyone on places to visit!
Whatever route you decide on, just enjoy it!!
I had an ablation done last December, after years dealing with AFib/AFlutter with an ER trip in July -- and seeing the "Light" literally! Monitor went to 00 and I did see the light with my eyes closed. Very weird!
Gives one a slightly different outlook afterwards.
So, definitely take the most scenic route!!

Anybody have any recommendations of a vendor for lens rental. Havent done that before.

I'm close enough to two different camera shops that do rentals. I'll drive 40-50 miles. Also, if rented on a Thursday for three days and with a Monday holiday, I can actually get the rental for 5 days since they are closed Sunday and holidays. Then return it on Tuesday morning.

#3 looks like the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, not Hubbard.
Was just up there a couple of weeks ago, from Fairbanks, Denali, Talkeetna, Anchorage to Seward, then cruised to Hubbard, Juneau, Skagway, icy Strait Point, Ketchikan and Vancouver. Awesome trip!

Here's my .02 having recently returned from an Alaskan land tour/cruise.
I have a backpack, but wanted something easier and more compact while on this trip. I also wanted something I could carry on and have my Canon 80d not out of my sight no matter where we were.
I looked for a while but eventually found a shoulder bag that worked perfectly for what I wanted.
I ended up with a ThinkTank 30i
I was able to carry the 80d/w 18-135 lens, two rechargeable battery packs (for phone etc) and my iPhone 7 plus, along with extra sd card (card pouch in one of the dividers) and charging cables all in the main compartment and flap. The adjustable dividers allowed me to make 4 areas for camera, battery packs and phone.
There is another compartment where I kept my phone (otter box) holster and cleaning cloth, boarding passes, passport etc. The bag brochure would have this area for up to a 10" tablet.
Under the main flap, which is held down with magnets is another zipped area where I carried my camera charger and spare camera battery and also my phone charger and cable. The bag also comes with a rain cover.
Like I said, worked perfectly I could unzip grab my phone or camera very quickly. It fit under the airplane seat, train seat and on my lap while on a bus. Without the battery packs I carried, it would easily handle an extra lens up to an 8 or 9 in length in that space.

Also, this went through every scanner at every airport and scanner to get back on the ship with camera, phone, the two power packs and spare camera battery. Not a problem at any time.

Just came back this morning to TX from Alaska, through Vancouver. Had camera, lens, spare batteries, two rechargeable power packs (for phone etc) plus all the cords. In my carry bag, plus stuck my phone in there at each scan. Never had an issue at DFW, coming or going or Vancouver getting back into the US.
Plus, never an issue getting on the cruise ship, initially or at any port.

Can you not set up the computer for two different users?

If not, the adding names/initials to the files/folders or changing the file naming system seems most logical.

Hello from TX!
I have a cousin in NJ that also goes by Cookie!
Agree with above, don't be closed minded about post processing. You should have free software available to you through Canon. It's easy enough to use and I'm sure you'd surprise yourself with what you can do with it.
Happy Shooting!
