I am messaging you the sheet that I created. It's somewhat automated to do totals for you, you just have to input the data correctly. Instructions are at the bottom of the sheet. If you need to add rows, just do it above the rows that calculate. I have sent you a PDF of a filled-out sheet as an example, also sent the actual spreadsheet template with a few rows of sample data. I am happy to help you, if you like.
All my best.
RL

I would also greatly appreciate your sheet.

Thanks so much.

I was saddened to hear of Tim and Tolstoy's deaths. I saw them in 2018 on a trip to Amboseli. Magnificent animals

I'm looking for a Canon R-family mirrorless camera that has been converted to full spectrum. I'm also interested in a Canon EOS Ra mirrorless camera.

Did you have an open window to shoot through?

Try Kevin Adams tripod umbrella, and--if of interest--his stunning photography and comprehensive guide to NC waterfalls. www.kadamsphoto.com

DRM. I've ordered a Kevin Adams unit. Seems good. Very fast to take off so you can snap a picture without umbrella on tripod. Also blows off easily if gust comes along. We'll see how it works. Only disadvantage is that you have to hold it while taking a picture. Not practical when using 2 hands on camera for some abstract camera movement techniques.

I've found some people that say it is not a good idea to attach a kite to your tripod-- a breeze could take your tripod and camera, or at least cause vibration. So I've ordered a head-mounted umbrella to see if it works and is reasonably comfortable.

Does anyone use these? Have you found one that works well? I'm going to Vancouver/Butchart Gardens for a photo workshop and expect rain, but would like to keep shooting.

Beautiful images.

We used to go up to Silver Lake/Kit Carson Lodge for 2 weeks every summer when our daughter was still at home. We'd take day hikes in the area to various lakes. Just love that area. So much beauty concentrated in such a small area, made accessible by wonderful hiking trails.

I still go up during the Perseid meteor showers if the moon doesn't interfere. Frog Lake at Carson Pass is a great place for this.

Thank you, jblazar. If you do purchase one, be prepared to spend a lot of hours doing processing.

Yes. I'm retired so can spend the time. It is the result that counts. Heck, if I go on a weeklong workshop, that is a lot of time spent. Spending all THAT time is only worth it if you get an image(s) you are proud of. And having a print in your hand is the culmination of that whole process. I just started printing late last year, and am so glad I am doing it, as it is such a pleasure to see something beautiful that I actually created. Photography can be such a joy and we need all the joy we can get in these divisive times.

I went on a hike with our camera club last week. At our lunch stop, a group of about a dozen male wild turkeys came to visit. I took many pictures and noticed they had areas of iridescent feathers, but failed to think of taking an image of that specifically. So I did a major crop on one image for an abstract of their feathers. Comments and critique welcomed.

Note that with cameras that have articulating screens, like the R5, you will want an L-bracket that has a cutout or offset to accommodate screen rotation.
