I decided to take the copter tour because I have never been in a civilian copter. My wife does not like any small aircraft, so this was my first chance. Several things struck me:

1. No smell of hydraulic fluid
2. Padded seats
3. No sudden drops or lifts because of thermals
4. Music in the ear phones ("Flight of the Valkyries" on the way in and "Theme from Top Gun" on the way out).

This set show the initial views going into the canyon.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Did you have an open window to shoot through?

What a great opportunity, and photo perspective as well.

No, a plastic bubble. Many shots did not work because of glare and reflection.

Thanks, Bill, that was just before we turned for our landing.

Thanks, Jack, something I had not done. When we go to Sedona in March I will see if there are flights over the Grand Canyon NO.

Thanks, Barbara, I am afraid that it is low. When we landed they pointed out the high water marks.
