Hi Ken! I too live in South Carolina. Hope you enjoy it here. There are a lot of helpful people. Happy shooting!
Thank you, everyone for your responses. Have a great day!
I think I may have used the macro setting, when I may not have needed it.
This is my dog, Leah. I like the picture, but can't understand exactly why her rear-end is out of focus when her face is clear. Any suggestions, reasons, help, etc. appreciated. Thank you!
Leah
I bought a Nikon d3200 with 2 kit lenses. What would be a good, not super expensive, basic lens to get which would be better than the 18-55mm kit lens?
Thanks!
Welcome! I'm glad you are here.
Welcome! Glad you are here. You will learn a lot just by reading but ask questions too. Hope to see some of your pics soon.
If you find your sensor has dust, how do you safely clean it?
She (the mountain) is always so beautiful. Mt Renier is one of the sights I miss from Seattle. Wonderful shot. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you all so much. I'm glad to find a place I can ask questions and get help from. Have a great day!
Hi, I'm new to all of this. Douglass was helping me with focus problems on my flowers. The flowers are now much sharper than before. I think on one of them the color is off. Could this be from my flash? Thanks!
Thank you Sue, I'll see what I can do!
The pop up. When I didn't use a flash the center of the flower was too dark.
So if I increase the DOF, the whole flower should be more focused? Would it also help if I focus on the part closer to me? I would think a longer DOF would bring the rest into sharper focus. I'll try it and see what happens.
