Loved them all. #1 is very tender and touching. My fave is 10.
Hope it all goes well! Wishing for the best!
Thanks for the info and the pictures JackM. Thanks also for the great images. From info I found on a site called abandoned Southeast it looks as if the site was demo'd in May of 2019 although it looks as if the stacks were still there. I am pretty sure my Grand-dad worked at that site also.
I am thinking it looks like part of the old Fairfield plant or maybe Ensley.
Great image and last time I was in that area around 1999 the advice you were given was very sage.
Would love to know where this was taken in Birmingham. My Dad worked for US Steel and I swear he took me to that shop as a young un!!
Great post! I remember going to see the USS Alabama with my Dad. He was an old salt. I was probably about 6 or 7 years old. I won't date myself by saying when that occurred. ;-)
Love it! Great image to start the day!
One of the best movies ever....
Guess I know what we will be watching tonight.
Beautiful!! Wouldn't change a thing!
I love the first image. It is such a candid capture as she looks at you. Her eyes reflect her friendship with you (if I am reading her correctly).
It is if she is saying, "Good Lord! If it will shut you up, take the pics! But I love you anyway....."
Lovely woman, I am guessing. Inside and out.
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Yosemite just over 34 years ago. Thanks for beautiful shots that bring back beautiful memories.
