This woman is a daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, to those in her life. I have been trying to photograph for 11 months. She always said no because "Oh, I'm so old and ugly I'd probably break your camera" (dead serious, that has been her response).

I was FINALLY able to get her in front of my camera!!! She cried when she saw herself through MY eyes. Gorgeous inside and out, even at age 67! I'm so blessed that she said yes! (And FYI, there really wasn't much Photoshop done. She's really just gorgeous and young-looking).

Her pointing at the screen and asking "Is that really me", immediately before bursting into tears, was probably one of the most humbling and meaningful experiences of my life. She repeated that question, for 3 days (not kidding).
