Oil from transformers used to be sold to rural municipalities to be used to spread on roads to keep down the dust. There was a big criminal and civil case, I believe in NJ, where a company was hired to safely get rid of the PCB contaminated oil from transformers. What they did was drain the transformers and sell the oil to counties to be spread on the roads to keep down dust. I remember many days walking home from the bus stop on oiled roads in NJ.

I believe that all of their tests have been over their own territory or international waters nowheres near anything else. A number of years ago an electrician friend built himself a new house. Made all the lighting circuits 20 amp. The inspector failed the electrical, and told him he needed to replace wiring and breakers with 15 amp. My friend tried to explain to him that what he was doing was better than code, with no luck. Inspector said that"according to page such and such in the code book that was what needed to be used, period.Friend changed it to get past inspection, then changed back. Guess what. Now lighting circuits need to be 20 amp! Oh, and the inspector had never changed a lightbulb, much less done any electrical work. Was a plumber with 30 years experience. Go figure.

Our local ballpark has 2 minor league teams, a Marlins affiliate and a St Louis affiliate. Old guys get to go to all the Fl.State League games on Wednesdays for $30. Watching these kids play is great. They actually hustle, not like the Million Dollar Wonders in the Majors. They're trying for a piece of that big money, so they put some effort into what they do. Also some of the errors and screw-ups are entertaining!

Here in So. Florida, we missed winter. Was spring from Oct to April, now starting into summer. Lows in the 80's- highs in the nineties.
