Will do! Now it's a learning curve cause I am used to Nikon layout.
First, thanks to all who took the time to reply. I appreciate it & it did help. So yesterday, I went to Hunts camera & checked the Nikon P520 & Canon SX50. Both very good, but___. So checked a refurbished Nikon D5100 & was about to spring for it when I asked about any bridge cameras (learned that is the term to describe the likes of Nikon P520 etc.) better than the Nikon & Canon. He brought out a Panasonic FZ200. Ended up purchasing that for a number of reasons, number one is a 2.8 Leica lens, manual focus & hot shoe & 600mm equivalent zoom. So far, very pleased with it, but have to get used to new controls.
Thanks - got replies from both, so, I will have to go check them out in person.
Like the B n W it adds a dramatic effect to the sunset sky>
Jus t for curiosity, what camera are you currently using? Good points & I will definitely look at both,
Thanks - I definitely will lok into that. I am somewhat limited in what I can do, this sounds like it has quite a few. Nice features that Nikon does not
Thanks for the quick reply. I want to keep the D60, but, someone else has other ideas. So, I probably will trade. She has aa nice little point & shoot as a backup, so I probably will trade - providing I don't feel I'm getting screwed! Again, thanks for the insight.
Currently using a Nikon D60 w/a Nikon 18 - 135 tele lens, but are seriously thinking og trading for a Nikon P520. Ay thoughts from anyone - pro or con?
