I took this picture last night at sunset and I thought it would make a cool b n w pic too. Curious what you guys think.
Thanks!
WOW.............really loved those shots mean and moody!!

Sunsets look best in color to me.
I tend to go for black and white more often than not because it removes a lot of the distractions of colour and brings more attention to your subject matter. Definitely like the b/w's better :)
The first one is definitely better in color, and my preference is color on all of them because of the awesome beauty in those colors!!
For me, sunrise and sunset REQUIRE color!!

Very nice. What water is that? The color looks like sunset. The B&W looks more like storm clouds.

For these pictures I prefer B&W.

If you'd only put the colour or B & W ones on here I think everyone would have given a  but seeing choices of either colour/B & W sort of makes it difficult to choose. Nevertheless they are great pictures and to be perfectly honest I like B & W, simply because I think it shows more mood and/or depth and makes you look into the image more.
You can't go wrong with any of these. I like both sets.
Certainly moodier with B/W, but I prefer them in color. Either, well composed shots. Nice work!
Nice! I think you're giving away too much when you go from color to B&W.
I think I prefer the B&W in this composition as it tells the story of this isolated small boat without the sunset competing with the boat for our attention.

Because you are WILLING to consider both, you might gain a greater perspective by setting up a B&W folder on your desktop. When you have 20 images, study them for their impact and post process your top 5 via Lightroom or some other program. There may be some show quality B&Ws in your future. This may not be the kind of answer you are looking for, but I see this possibility in your work.
I prefer the B&W. While the sunset is beautiful in color, it takes on a different personality in B&W
