My IMac NIK quit working after updating to high Sierra it would crash when I tried to add a layer but someone came up with a fix here. At least for Color EFX. In color EFX go to settings lower left and choose after clicking OK then apply filter to current layer instead of separate and voila it started working again. Hope it helps.

I was lucky enough to be one of those that paid for it and now with MacOS High Sierra it crashes and I have my doubts it will ever be updated so sadly not much good anymore.

I have used them for a very long time but after I updated to MacOS High Sierra when I use the pluggin it crashes photoshop and I have seen that others have had the same issue. Not sure if windows is suffering from the same issue.

Used one of those welding shades to photograph Venus passing through the sun they work okay but a lens filter would have much better optics.

Too funny, when I heard it before it went. That was such a great meal you must have a great stove.

I second that store on external drive save the space.

One thing I would recommend is that you buy an external hard drive and avoid saving your images to your computer's internal hard drive. They are inexpensive and will save you a lot of woes later on. You can create a folder on the external hard drive where you want to save your pictures and download from the SD card through your SD card slot on your computer. Have fun.

I use a chromebook from time to time they work great for minimal stuff. If you have one that supports the Play Store you can get lightroom and such amazing. I have a external card reader and add an external HDD as well. All works great and I am shooting a Nikon D800 and shoot RAW it handles things fine. Enjoy. Mine has 2 USB C ports so I needed an adapter but pretty much works like any other.

The nikon 28-300 is a great all around lens that for the range is not overpriced and for a full frame camera

If you are handy you can remove the drive from it's enclosure and pop it in a drive dock or get an sata adapter and try it that way. Inside the case should be a regular drive and it may only be your enclosure. I have had this work.
