Does NIK software still work with the latest CC classic upgrade?
Yes, works fine. BUT I did have to reinstall it.

I did not have to reinstall any plugins.

yes, as far as the Silver Efex I've used. I;m assuming if one works, they all do. And I didn't need to do a reinstall this time (did have to do it last year.)

Nik no longer works for me after upgrading to CC Classic. I reinstalled Nik but with no luck. I finally started looking at Luminar and now waiting for Luminar 2018 to get same effects as NIK

Yes. I've already tried this in Photoshop and Lightroom Classic.
Good question. Mac High Sierra

Go to Adobe’s web site and check the minimum hardware and software requirements. Be sure you are running a compatible version of MacOS, and that your graphics processor is supported.

If your Nik plug-ins have worked previously under High Sierra, they should be able to continue to work. The issue is where they reside on your drive, and how/whether they are linked to your software. You may have to change some settings, or plug-in file locations, or both.
Adobe’s web forums may help.
(This scenario comes up with each new version installation of LR or PS.)
My IMac NIK quit working after updating to high Sierra it would crash when I tried to add a layer but someone came up with a fix here. At least for Color EFX. In color EFX go to settings lower left and choose after clicking OK then apply filter to current layer instead of separate and voila it started working again. Hope it helps.
On a Mac:
Check the Applications folder > Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 folder > Plug-Ins folder > Google folder to be sure you have a folder containing each of your Nik Plug-Ins.
Then be sure you go to Lightroom>Preferences>External Editing and set up each plug-in there.
Also, if you use the Nik tools stand-alone apps, they should be in the Applications folder > Nik Collection folder.
