Well Well Well, I also do some Vol work ar a Bird wildlife centre , and take some photos of the birds, but just for my satisfacion. but after seeing yours, I think I will just give up, they are magnificent, and I am sure I will never get anywhere near your quality, Thanks for posting, even though they do deflate my efforts, still they are something to aim for.

Hi, I also use Picasa, but as it is no loger being supported, as I am on widows 10l i use photos, which is in the menu and find it to not only easy to use, but very good, it is a junp up from Picasa, but you do not have to be a Boffin to understand. Also I have also downloaded Photoshop elements express, which is a free one, and use that, also easy to understand and use,
Try these as they wont cost you anything, and I think you will be very pleased with the results, I know I am...

Hi, I think I can reply to you with some good info as I have just returned to live in NZ from Aus after 28yrs there, my Wife and I have traveled around Aus a lot, doing 3 -5 mth trips each winter, and to be quite honest , 4 weeks is nowhere long enough to look at Aus, never mind seeing even a good amount of it, unless you just want to spend your time driving, the likes of Queensland alone could use up all of your time,, However if you do deiced on Aus just select an area to rely explore

on the other hand, New Zealand in 4 weeks isnt to bad, but again not as easy as people think , as even though it isnt as big a country, there are so many things to see, Dont take any notice of the person who said you could see New Zealand in the time you have got, thats absolute rubbish;

If you require any detailed info. please PM me and I will help as much as I can, Colin

Love the photos Sylvia, and as I have been thinking of getting the 18 x 400 Tamron lens, its nice to see just what it can do, as I have a canon 600 D I think it just might be a good match, I am sick of having to change lenses, 18 x 55 to a 70 x 300, even though I get quite good results, the Tamron 18 x 400 would remedy that, plus give me some extra zoom,, what is your opinion of the lens? Finally its good for this Lancashire Lad, now living in New Zealand, to be able to view a Yorkshire Lassies work, and above all Learn from it, Keep em Coming , Colin

Nagamban Lookout is near Halls Creek in Northern Western Australia, taken with a Panasonic P/S hand held, in the days before i knew how good a Tripod would be, The colours of the sky amaze me , virtually no editing,

Gday Angler, when I lived in the UK I spent many days if not weeks in the Lakes, but after your experience, you will know why I left the UK, and have spent the last 44 yrs in New Zealand and Australia,

You should treat yourself to a trip down under, and enjoy some good weather, keep the wellies on and rain coat handy,
