Hi can any one suggest a solution for this please??

Most years (but not this year) we go to Germany to the GSD Sieger Show where I use my Camcorder (Panasonic HDC-HS60) to Record the Show, see link.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWhTL29INkA

And also use the Camcorder to take Still Photos, see Photos below. not the best Focus

Having recently acquired a Canon SX40 (love it) I would like to take both next year, so I am looking for a Tripod Bracket to fit my HAMA Gamma 72 Tripod.

The Camcorder to be centre of Tripod mount (to pan) the CANON to one side.

Any suggestions please.

I dropped Firefox and went back to Internet Explorer and that might have helped. I had 2 toolbars I couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried so deleted Firefox and toolbars were gone and come to think of it that may have also taken care of Shockwave. Never thought about it but now that you brought it up that's when Shockwave disappeared----hmmm......

Hi COCO have a look at IObit Uninstaller 2 this has never failed me, toolbars and all, and its free.

This doesn't have anything to do with photography, but it does with this site, so I guess this question is OK. I've noticed several times recently when I'm on the site everything freezes, and I get an error report that Shock Wave Flash has stopped working. Has anyone else had the same problem, and if so, were you able to correct it?

Hi Dixie, personally I use a Program called Secunia PSI, this keeps all Non-Microsoft software up to date for you, automatically.

Check it out here

Works for me

If I stand 10ft from a mirror and want to take a Photo of my self what distance is my Camera away from the the image in the Mirror??

10 ft because that's where the Mirror and Reflection actually is?
Or 20ft because I appear to be 10ft further away from the Mirror?

OK silly question but it baffles me

I bought my first DSLR about a year ago (Nikon D5100), read some books and magazines, went on some day courses, started buying lenses and other kit and it dawned on me that the one thing I wasn't doing was taking pictures.

So, I recently joined UHH, primarily because of the weekly 'competitions' to nudge me to shoot and think about photography every week (big thanks to St3v3M), and am loving it.

However, with the forums, UHH is so much more. I think the mix of members is great, many supportive and encouraging, others more direct and even brutally honest - which is often more useful, some beginners and some clearly 'time served' experts.

So, I'd just like to say "hello" and I'm looking forward taking part, learning and ultimately, to making better pictures :)

I have a XP computer. I cannot use any IE over IE 8. So, now I use Chrome. Works good and doesn't crash as often, and loads quickly. I'm going to upgrade to Win 7 soon. XP will not be supported at all in 1 year.

HI Bill, Win8 is not so bad, why not wait to see what Windows Blue (due out this Autumn) does to Win8 and then make your mind up.

Your response always puzzles me. The object of getting on the web is to view one or more web sites. The browser is the tool that allows you to find and open those sites. The question is that if you can find the site you want and view it then what difference does the browser make? A browser is just a vehicle.

I can get to the beach in any car as long as I get to the beach the make of car is of no concern to me.

OK, but if original Poster does not want IE10 then he is at liberty to use any Browser he wishes and not the one that Microsoft is trying to force him to use, so my statement holds true, in my opinion!!

I had a big update on my Windows 7 when I closed down. When I restarted I found Microsoft had downloaded Internet Explorer 10. I don't mind, I'm sure it will be good but should Microsoft have asked me first?

Part of the problem is that some web sites will only open with IE (what an awful Browser) so it is needed.
What you need to do is to make sure that your favourite Browser is your default on starting Windows
