There's no trial and error required. To stop action you need a high shutter speed.Setting your camera to a high ISO setting will allow you to increase the shutter speeds .You can also stop action using a flash unit on your camera.

The 24-70 L series f2.8 11 is on my wish list. The series 11 is an upgrade from the series 1.The price $1000. for the series 1 is a very good price . . The only draw back to this lens is it doesn't have image stabilizer.

UHH is not supposed to be a platform for issues on foreign policy but for photography issues . My apologies if I offended you . You have every right to express your concerns but I don't feel a program such as UHH is a place to present articles like this.Stick to photography articles.

2 controversial subjects are religion and politics . These are personal to each individual . I can't believe trashing religion or politics like this has to be discussed in a program that was designed for photography issues . Give your heads a shake and treat UHH the way it was designed for.

I know the patience you need in trying to photograph these little birds.Practice doesn't always make perfect pictures but a lot of good luck helps.Well done.

Its very hard to capture quality shots of these little birds.Once you start its hard to stop as you'll find .I've spent hours sitting and waiting to get the perfect image, trying different methods with external flashes ,high iso settings etc. You have a nicely focused image .I have lots photographs of hummingbirds around feeders .The trick now is to get an image with the bird feeding on flowers.Good luck you're on the right track .

You have a very nice model to work with. Its hard to choose as I like both colour and B/W photos. The crop on the images are a little tight for my liking, also the left side of the image I find distracting and doesn't help the portrait.

The first time I saw a dog like this.I thought is was the result of a drunken party where they shaved the poor dog.The woman explained this type of animal is naturally hairless.you have to be careful in the summer as it can get sunburned and in the winter it won't fair to well outside. How can a person not like this dog is beyond me .Its just as affectionate as any other dog.
