I can’t get over how natural these shots look after you have colorized them. Even after zooming in it’s difficult to tell that these pictures were not originally taken in color.

In the past I would not purchase an extended warranty when I got a new vehicle and several went past 350,000 miles without any problems. I traded for my diesel in July of 2021 after relatives convinced me there wouldn’t be a better time. The dealership talked me into buying a warranty and I have been so glad they did. So far they have replaced a $2000 radiator, a fuel injector, and a valve in the cooling system. The labor for the radiator and the valve was a full day each. Being retired and on SS paying for any of these would have put me in a real bind. The engine itself has been great. Plenty of power pulling our trailer and great mileage just cruising down the road. But I’m so glad I got that extended warranty.

Looks like I’m going to have to get me some 3D glasses. These all look too good.

I got XM before the two merged. I enjoy jazz and where I live there’s only one station that plays it and for only part of the day. The unit I bought was a self contained radio with a battery and an internal antenna. I traveled all around Texas for my job driving different vehicles. I could carry this unit with me and listen to jazz all over without having to hunt for a new station. At the time the cost per month was about the price of two cds. I could listen to a lot of different artists rather than just one or two a month. Still have SiriusXM in my truck. Use the phone app when I’m away from the truck. Still no stations around me that play jazz.

Interesting about the MRI. I have a defribulator/pacemaker combo implanted in my chest due to v-fib. Was told I could not undergo an MRI cause it would mess up the combo. My Physiologist-Cardiologist says it can be done but most doctors are afraid to try an MRI. So far, I have been able to avoid the need for an MRI, but wonder what will happen if I sometime need one.

I too was told not to undergo an mri. I called the company that made my pacemaker. They said the unit itself could handle it but the wire going into my heart could be pulled away and that would not be good.

I’ve said this before. I would love to have a coffee table book of your work, both past and present.

The Hudson Valley post refers to the removal of natural occurring arsenic from groundwater sources of drinking water. One can accomplish the same thing at home by using a reverse osmosis system.

I have a 2021 Silverado diesel that I let the dealership I bought it from change the diesel filter. To purge the air from the filter you hold the start button for 5 seconds with your foot off the brake. They charged me $60 just for that. Filter was extra.

I commented on one of your earlier posts that I wish you would publish a coffee table book of your work both bw and colorized. It does seem that the blue sheet in this batch of photos seems more natural and doesn’t jump out as some of your previous posts. It still might be my iPad. Still great work.

Since no one else has responded to this post I will. Great work. I wish I had a coffee table book of all the work you did from that time period. The only criticism I can muster is the blue in the last one of this series seems to stand out too much compared to all the other colorized ones you’ve posted. It may be my iPad. Otherwise fantastic work.
