Amen! As a former high school English teacher, I cringe whenever I read stuff like that. There is one young fellow here in my hometown who has no idea about spelling, sentence structure, punctuation, or civility(uses vulgarity constantly) in his Lightroom entries. I would like to send him my copy of the Practical English Handbook. I refer to it quite frequently.

They may be "protected" in New York, but here in Texas, they are a menace. I often have to chase them away from eating the cat's food, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time, also with their young. And yes, they do carry rabies, so keep your distance.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to the resetting of the exposure counter on a refurbished camera? I am considering purchasing a Nikon D500 and have seen some refurbished ones in my budget range, but do not care to get one that is almost used up. If not reset, what would be a reasonable count for the D500?

I have fond memories of Key Largo from the summer of 1990. Spent a week there taking an underwater photography course - loved the scenery. Sorry to say, I have not dived since then. I think I outgrew my wetsuit. At that time we were mostly shooting Nikon film cameras - mine is a Nikonos V - still have it, along with a Nikonos SB105 which I have never used. Every so often, I sort through my slides that I took there and recount the many experiences of that week. The most terrifying was when I got my airline tangled in some staghorn coral and had to fight to get it loose. Maybe that's why I'm not diving anymore. Anyway, I always enjoy seeing more scenes from Key Largo and mainly underwater. Thanks for sharing.

How does one discontinue (cease subscription) Photoshop and Lightroom? I have subscribed to them for over a year and am not using them, so I would like to cease and desist. It's not the money, I just do not use them and do not know how to unsubscribe.

I have been receiving emails from a company called MPB and would like to know who or what they are. Has anyone on the HH done business with them or know anything about them? They seem to have some pretty decent deals on their wares. I would appreciate hearing about them. Thanks.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I will take that into consideration when buying the D500.

I shoot with a Nikon D300, which I think is one of the greatest cameras ever made by Nikon. What I would like to know is: Will the EN---15a and the older 15 batteries interchange on the D 300 and the D 500 (which I am planning on buying soon)? Thanks for any input.

Would you possibly be interested in a film camera? If so, I have a Nikonos V underwater camera that I would be willing to part with, plus some attachments that go with it. email me at robbiedoug463@gmail.com

I have been scanning the various advertisements for a certain Nikon camera and have found numerous ones with inviting prices. One problem that has got me wondering is how can I discern whether or not a camera has a USA warranty or is it a gray market item. It would be greatly appreciated if someone out there could educate me as to how to identify gray market BEFORE purchase. Thanks.

It seems that no one noticed the deer standing next to the fallen log in the center of the photo.

I have not had any experience with Tokina lenses, nor prime macro lenses, so my question would be: Would either fit onto my Nikon D-300? Taking into consideration my meager budget, any other lens suggestions?
Thanks.
