I do NOT watch live TV. I record any programs I choose to watch, including sports. I simply stay secure from results.
About "today's entertainers have no talent at all". In my opinion, many, if not most of "today's entertainers", simply have no formal training in music. The current styles of music are mostly repetitive rhythm with words. I do not consider it music. Music has form and it requires training and knowledge to perform. Most of the current music scene's artists do not have either. Consequently, older and more knowledgeable viewers of music, conclude the artist's "do not have talent". They may have talent, but the form of "music" does not require talent or training. At least in "my opinion".

My first idol. I learned to play jazz by playing along with his records. I wore them out. Later I played with Ziggy Elman, Ray Anthony, Raphael Mendez, The Dorsey's, Miles, Chet, Maynard, Lee, Freddy, Count, Stan, ... I wasn't that good, but I did have fun and performed at local spots, dances, weddings, ... My love for music is a constant in my life.

This is good old big band swing from the 50's - 70's. I saw him and most big bands in the 50's at Convention Hall in Asbury Park, NJ during the summers. Wow! I sure was lucky!
