I was looking on amazon for a Nikon D850 and saw where I can get one cheaper but it said International Model. But it also said it came with a two year extended warranty. Can you get a International Model serviced in the USA?

Most Nikon Authorized Service Centers will not deal with Grey Market as they must furnish a serial number BEFORE Nikon will sell them parts. Also, Nikon will not sell parts to 3rd party repair centers, PERIOD!
This info comes from an employee of a Authorized Nikon Service Center.

Abe's of Maine is the last place on earth I would deal with.
They are known for unethical business practices by many.

I bought a refurbished D850 from Nikon last month for $2,199. It showed 0 shutter clicks, and it looks new to me.

I agree. I have been reading review. Many people, some professionals, find the D850 a plastic toy and have returned the camera. i am most likely going to pass ............

I NEVER SAID THE D850 WAS A PLASTIC TOY. I SAID, I READ A REVIEW WHICH STATED THIS.

Yeah, I read that post calling the D850 a plastic toy, I chalked it up to individual having no clue as to what they were talking about.

The D750 is no Thoroughbred but it certainly not a mule. LOL

High MP always slows down any camera compared to similar cameras with 24MP. Nothing really dated about the 850. It’s still everybody’s very most prized SLR, Nikonwise, to both users and aspiring hopeful users (such as our OP).

Still ROTFLMFAO. But for myself, I can’t picture me spending ~$2K to upgrade my 750. Acoarst my 750 gets only minor use so I have no nagging frustrations with it. Gotta be forgiving toward a healthy but aging mule.

Wow, hardly a "Plastic Toy".
It is an old tech camera but still a very strong, well built and professional quality camera.
$1,900 to $2,000 is a more common selling price, $2,500 is high for used.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. The owner of the D850 will not budge on price .... so I passed!
I will just continue along with my D750, which serves me well.

You need to confirm that the camera is a Nikon USA camera and not grey market (other countries). Nikon USA will refuse to supply parts or repair a grey market camera. - It is lightly used. But, I would have expected the price to be a bit lower for a 2.5 year old camera.

I currently use a Nikon D750 and have been amazed by the photos I get. Recently, I have been presented with the opportunity to upgrade to a Nikon D850. Camera is from the original owner, who is upgrading to mirrorless, like new condition, 2 1/2 years old and 11,014 shots. Comes with original box and everything which came with it. Is this camera worth $2500? Certainly better than $2997 + tax for a new one. I know the choice is mine, just looking for some thoughts here. I do not see mirrorless as an option as I do not want to replace all my lens or have to use an adapter.

Thanks

Does a gaming computer with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, make a good computer for Photoshop?

My computer is a 24 core with 64GB RAM. I use DxO PhotoLab to process my photos. I recently purchased an EVGA GTX 1080 TI 11GB gaming video card. I am not a gamer nor am I interested in gaming however ..........
DxO PhotoLab can use the GPU and has significantly cut my processing time. I also use software called PAVTube to convert video format. What use to take 34 minutes, now takes 9 minutes using the GPU. So yes, a powerful video card can and will make a difference to any software which can access it.
