Not by Nikon you can't.
And all other repair services have to get parts from Nikon. Which if they know it is going into an "international model" (Gray Market) they might refuse to sell him. So the non-Nikon repair places often have to either salvage parts from broken cameras or get the parts Gray Market from other countries.
Good question, B&H also sells that variant. Thing is B&H is honest and does not scam on new merchandise. Same with Adorama. Also be aware of
from Amazon vs
third party sellers on Amazon. Best to call Nikon and ask. Note scams are usually with new technology or current hot models. If someone claims such and such for a Nikon D800 or D800E still new as remainder it is likely true. But for a D850, I'd check with Nikon if it sounds too good to be true.
"International Model" is a nice way to say "Grey Market". No warranty from Nikon at all. No service by Nikon in USA. Perhaps independent servicers.
The two-year "extended warranty" is odd. It is the ONLY warranty. Who provides it?
Also note that the manual and the menus could be in some other language. Good luck if you get one in Serbo-Croat.

I had a used Sigma SD14 from Ebay, the guy had a Russian name and sure enough the manual was in Russian, fortunately it was a dual language manual, also in English.
If you look, it is advertised by Amazon but the order is being filled by 6ave and you would need to got to them to get the details. I would not trust this. You may have a 3 year warranty all you need to do is go to the country where it is honored.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The camera is cheaper because it wasn't imported by Nikon Inc (Nikon in the USA), and Nikon Inc will ignore it. Nikon Inc does not sell parts to unauthorized repair shops. I wonder how good that warranty would be without Nikon parts.
On the other hand, Nikon will service the camera in the country where it was intended to be sold. Would you want to send your camera to Indonesia or China or Brazil for repair?

B&H does not have a "grey market" D850. The only "grey market" dslr cameras we have at this time are the D5300 and D7100.

Thank you.
Judging by the comments, what good is a 2 year warranty if no one will be willing to service it?
Thanks for all the replies. I’ve decided not go get a gray market camera. But what about glass? I’ve had Lens that are 5 plus years that never needed anything done to them.

In the old days, you might want to take a chance. New lenses have electronics, focusing motors, and anti-vibration features. I've never had a lens that needed repair, but I still prefer one with a warranty. Gray market lenses will not be repaired by Nikon Inc.
The parts are going to come from another country no matter who does it.
I just sent a lens in to be repaired to Nikon USA in New York servers center and they are waiting for a part to be shipped from overseas to fix it.
And it is a U.S. lens.
