No, this reduction in size is very confusing to beginners, unless they know about it going in. A few years back, I had to build a stand for the house for my bearded dragon, so he could be in the livingroom and be seen by everyone. When I went to the lumberyard to buy the materials for the stand I designed off the top of my head, I thought it would be perfect. When I got there and looked at the wood I was going to have cut to size, I thought it looked a bit small. So, I found a measuring tape, and found the size discrepancies mentioned in this post. I had to go home, and redesign everything on my shopping list, so I would get the right stuff for it to fit together properly, and get it cut correctly, as I have no saws but a handsaw, which would not do the job in an untrained hand like mine. By doing that reconfiguration, it worked out very well, and is very stable. I don't have a picture, but it still stands in my livingroom doing something other than its original purpose. But knowing the size is different than advertised is critical.

The paperwork reduction act and the national do not call list leave a little to be desired.

They leave a WHOLE LOT to be desired.

OUTSTANDING!!! And probably so very true. Even more so in the current medical environment in which we live.

Yeah! The basketball team was pretty good before they moved to Utah. At least they stayed as the Jazz.

(Sorry, but I couldn't pass that opportunity up.)

How about Charles Manson in Helter Skelter

I don't think so. That's just too real This was for villains in movies. He was a villain in real life. And evenmore heinous to mention in real life or think about anymore.

Agent Smith from the Matrix movies. He was "almost" likeable.

But it does look rather tasty, too.

I figure that a perfect game where every out is a strikeout would be a perfect perfect game.

And a game where every pitch is a strike resulting in a perfect perfect game (and no foul balls with two strikes) would be an immaculate perfect game.

Amazing to even be able to consider possible at any level. Outstanding!!

A few years back, I went to a San Jose Sharks preseason hockey game in Fresno, CA. I wanted to take my Canon T1i with me, but somehow found that cameras with interchangeable lenses were not permitted. I called and asked why, and the reason was that that type of camera is reserved for use by the professional photographers covering the game. THEY can then insert the camera lenses through the holes in the hockey glass in the corners and take unobstructed pictures. So I took my point-and-shoot, and shot pictures with no problem.

Yup. This PLANdemic is definitely out of control. I understand the virus is real, and a potential problem. But they are going to make the vaccine card like the Nazi Papers from World War 2. I.e., "Your Papers, please!" It's more clearly, every day, more about control of the people than an issue about health. (And yes, I am in the process of getting my vaccine, just in case, but... One shot down, one to go.)

I've heard that baldness comes from the mother's father's side. My son was balding at 30. I have a full head of hair. My father was balding all through his life. My wife's father also is bald. I feel so bad for my son, but he seems to be fine with it, and deals with it well. I offered him some help, as I got some tips from friends who are bald or balding and shave their own heads, so I could help my son if he ever needed it. But he has never asked, and doesn't seem to be troubled by it. (I hope that helps some out there.)

I guess his mommy and daddy were not smart enough to teach him that the belt he is wearing is supposed to be used to hold the pants up, so he doesn't trip on them. But then again, nowadays we all see people doing very stupid things without realizing the consequences. (Glad I was taught right.)

For me, it all depends on who the extended warranty is purchased from.

If it is the store, I usually pass, because it takes so much longer, and usually becomes uncovered, or not repaired/restored as well.

If it is the manufacturer, they usually seem to cover more things, take less time (since it is a direct action, and things come back in much better condition than expected.

I have had experiences using both types, and the manufacturer's extended warranty has never disappointed me with the result, where with the store warranty, I am usually disappointed to some degree, and it usually takes so much longer.
