Of those who use stacking software, what are your preferences: Zerene Stacker, Helicon, or other? What are the most useful features? Easiest to use? Stack size limits? I would appreciate hoggers input.

Adding another to the mix. Has anyone had any experience with “Focus Stacker” Software in Apple Apps?

I usually do not post stuff forwarded to me, but this is amazing. I was surprised at how many stations are in English or play American music where you wouldn't expect it. Frank Sinatra in Russia, Country in Ireland or some remote island playing Rock.

Enjoy traveling the world by radio. The green dots on this Google Earth represent a radio station anywhere in the world.

Click on any of the dots and you will immediately listen to radio stations in that city with very good sound; some cities have multiple stations available. There is some lag time if you find the same station that you are listening to at the same time. Some stations maybe off the air due to time difference.

The globe can be rotated by dragging it with your cursor. Note the lack of stations in China and North Korea.

Not sure if you have Mojave installed. But this maybe why your Aperture is not working or not working well. I know the App is not supported, but I can still use it on my Mac. ( I don’t have Mojave installed).

I think the partial article below is from the Apple Support page. I had it for awhile and can’t remember where I got it from for sure. There is a complete list of apps that will no longer work with Mojave.
................................
Which Apple apps won’t work in Mojave?
It’s not only third-party developers who’s apps are still stuck in 32-bit though. Even Apple has a collection of older apps that will be compromised - so if you are still using them it might be time to update to a newer version, or to switch to something else.

Aperture
Aperture 3, released in 2010, was the first 64-bit version of Aperture, and the last version of Aperture.

If you have an older version of Apple’s pro photo solution that it discontinued back in 2014, it may not run in Mojave. If you have Aperture 3, it may run, but don’t expect it to be issue free, especially since Apple no longer supports the photography application.

Good lock finding a new program...there several good Apps list in othe posts.

I recently did a biography of my uncle who fought in WWI. It included text, scanned documents, downloaded documents like Census records and photos in jpeg format. I did everything on my Mac. I soon found out not all files could be read or viewed by others using MS or other operating systems. I then changed all to PDF format...and created a folder and posted it on DropBox(free up to a certain generous memory limit). You can send read only invites to family members. They can either view online and/or download. Hope this helps...good luck.

For something different to do, try the Biosphere 2. It's only located about 40 or so miles from Tucson. Just Google it for more info and pictures.

Hi, I was in Vietnam 69-70. Stationed at a place called Ben Cat. The closest Base with a PX was Lai Khe. I bought an Olympus 1/2 frame there...loved it, a great little rugged camera.

I used it for a few years after getting out of the service. Sorry I ever sold it.

Thanks weber, the defaults got me pretty close. I did like to kick the definition up a little on all the shots. Great fun and learning experience. Think I may be hooked on RAW, but will have to get a larger capacity memory card for my camera soon😊
