After you were hacked the first time did you check your computer for Key Loggers, or Malware, or any kind of virus problems? If you were hacked due to your computer and didn't do anything to make sure it was clean, then who ever hacked you the first time may have now also hacked your new cards and info!

Been an eBay seller for a dozen years and it’s hard to get a real person to talk to. Go through the menus that pop up with self help always clicking contact us. Eventually you’ll get to the have us call you screen and they are very helpful. Never trusted mcafee enough so now I have bitdefender for security

Oh heavens yes. Just doesn't make the news here. Some of the worst are raccoons, grey squirrels, Colorado potato beetle and large mouth bass. And we have some great legacy items from past history including syphilis and, do we consider tobacco. Many invasive species are deliberately transferred. Kudzu was deliberate. Autumn Olive was deliberate because it grew and spread so rapidly it could help prevent soil erosion. It's one of the stupidest human behaviors that we continue to repeat.

I guess I didn’t really think about it until this post. Pythons, Cane toads in FL. Humans just don’t learn from their mistakes.

Great to know, hard to keep up with. Asian Honeysuckle, Garlic Mustard (terrible here in WI) Kudzu, Zebra mussels. I never hear if other countries have a global invasive species problem with imports from the US.

Yes after seeing a couple of YouTube videos on that perch idea I’m the process of doing that at my feeders. I’ve got some wonderful bird photos but the background and feeder just make them ordinary. Definitely not wall hangers :(

In our town when I was a kid we had a wooden toboggan slide. Kids would slide down on cardboard or without. I remember hearing about a kid getting a giant sliver in the posterior (urban legend?) The story was horrible to hear depending on who told it. Kept me off the slide even with cardboard. Yikes!

It depends, do you enjoy gambling? I’ve been a camera reseller for 12+ yrs and you must be prepared for the swings of estate/auction sales. You probably won’t be able to test the camera. You have to trust your gut and clues you can obtain from the state of the home and contents for sale. Takes a certain amount of huevos and research. A quick eBay search shows a wide spread of $800 and up for working D810, $900-$1100 for decent bodies. Worst case is $350-400 for parts bodies. Last fall I got a Canon 5D and 24-70 2.8 L for $125 at an estate auction. Couldn’t test, turned out to be excellent. That kind of find fuels my business and digital hobby 😄

We have not had cable for several years but can watch most of what we want to on the computer or my tablet. My hubby likes golf, but often cannot watch the whole game or just gets snippets, or only certain days, and on occasion no days at all of a particular tournament. I have looked at the PGA site and it looks to me like if you join ($49 a year) that you still can't watch unless you have a cable or satellite or some such provider to stream it through. Do any of you watch golf on the computer or tablet and if so, how? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Install Kodi ( see HTPC Beginers web site) install pro sports add-on. Should be able to get as many tournaments as you please. I'm assuming you already have high speed internet as you are already streaming to your pc. Mines still a work in progress but am pleased with it so far, allowing me to cut the cable.

If anyone out there has decided they are no longer interested in stacking macro shots and has a quality rail for sale, please post.

Don't know what camera you shoot with but I have a Nikon PB-6 for sale with the AR-7 double cable release you might be interested in. JS

I'm looking for a drive to use with a recent purchase (a refurb march 2015 macbook pro). I'm looking at the WD My Passport (4tb) drive. It says reformatting is required to use with Mac. Should I move on and look at something else? I have never used an external drive, but it seems to me that if you have to reformat something to use it, it might not really be the best choice? Thoughts? Confirmations and/or other recommendations great appreciated. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and experience!

I spent Christmas in AZ and wanting to reduce weight bought a WD 2TB wireless pro to use with my iPad. That along with the Nex 7 kit I put together really reduced my carry on to the size (or smaller) then most purses on the flight. After the set up it worked fantastic! I was able to download directly to the drive via the SD slot and upload to Lightroom on the iPad for PP and really couldn't be happier with that small system. Can't replace a desktop or large monitor but for travel or field work it's great. Plus I didn't have to lug my laptop around or borrow my sisters computer. WD makes fine, trustworthy drives IMHO

This is my 1st post of my work. I've been a member for a few years mostly just gathering knowledge and catching a grin or two. I acquired a small Meade 60 ETX telescope and adapted my Sony Nex 7 to it. Wow I finally got the results I've been looking for. It's only the equivalent to a 350mm lens but shooting at low ISO on a tripod allowed me to really crop down without much noise. Thanks everyone for the tips & tricks over the years!! JS

All the future technologies aren't going to be inside the camera. I think this will take awhile to trickle down to my price point!
