Love these blossoms growing out of a small tree in my yard, but don't know the name.

That is Asian Bush Honeysuckle. Kill it now. Stop whatever you're doing and kill it now. It is one of the most evil invasive species plants in the US.

Here in MO the DNR at one point actually ran an ad campaign with billboards calling it Enemy of the State: http://stophoneysuckle.org/resources/ Here's a fun link: https://www.creve-coeur.org/DocumentCenter/View/3882/Missouri-Dept-of-Conservation-Honeysuckle-15700?bidId=

Bush honeysuckle is one of the most aggressive invasive species. The bleep bleep thing is Allelopathic and emits chemicals that retard the growth of other plants. Let it grow in your yard and eventually it will be the only thing growing in your yard and then it'll come for you.

Kill it now.

It is growing out of an old cherry stump. I'll cut it before it takes over...

Seriously, enjoy the flowers now if you like but eventually it will produce red berries (seeds). The birds will eat the berries and spread it. You have a public responsibility to not let that happen.

Great to know, hard to keep up with. Asian Honeysuckle, Garlic Mustard (terrible here in WI) Kudzu, Zebra mussels. I never hear if other countries have a global invasive species problem with imports from the US.

Oh heavens yes. Just doesn't make the news here. Some of the worst are raccoons, grey squirrels, Colorado potato beetle and large mouth bass. And we have some great legacy items from past history including syphilis and, do we consider tobacco. Many invasive species are deliberately transferred. Kudzu was deliberate. Autumn Olive was deliberate because it grew and spread so rapidly it could help prevent soil erosion. It's one of the stupidest human behaviors that we continue to repeat.
