All the future technologies aren't going to be inside the camera. I think this will take awhile to trickle down to my price point! I don't see this ultra flat lens technology being much more than a marginal improvement on what already exists. Nothing to get too excited about really. Although it may eventually lead to the development of something more practical, such as improved lens optics for phone cameras, etc. Or in telescopic astro-photography, where the control of chromatic aberration is a far more critical issue.
