how great to have access to such beautiful landscape...
an alternate option to online class, I had to get this book for a class "photography" by London, Upton,Stone,Kobre, and Brill. Great for explaining a lot of the technical and give you ideas to practice, espeicaly for shutter priority and aperture priority which is one of the basics to master and then move forward from there.
mark, in lightroom you can select where you want to change the exposure. I have lightroom if you would like me to try.
when trying to get through the fence it is also important to remember to get your lens to focus in the middle of a diamond in oprder to focus through the chain link itself.
moose, if your talking about mine it is a yearling grey wolf very intent on a possible toddler dinner or play thing.
The images have great compostion..the color and contrast I think becomes personal taste. All edits that have been done are really good and each unique. great job everyone.
love the composition...nice work.
Crop most of the green out, it will make the butterfly stand out more then you may only have to use a touch of fill light to lighten it.
I like the silhouette image better too....adds mystery to the image and lets your imagination fill in the cblack spots.
The bar that keeps visitors from the chain link is still about 5 to 10 feet from the animal cages so getting a shot thorugh the fence is tough. this is unedited
great job and lucky you to have such a willing model...lol
I like how you got the main lighting on the instrament and hand and left the musician in the heavy shadow... would make a great advertizement poster for his band...
This is a great image...norman rockwell of the digital age.. awesome.
you have a fantastic eye and did a great job editing. The only distraction to me it your watermark. I love your design but the size is distracting from your spectacular images.
your first image just needs to be cropped close, cut ou person on right and most of wagon on left. looe the street in the foreground and bring the top line towards the drivers heads and it really makes the image stronger. you lose alot of the busy background and bring the focus on to the horses.
