The cost of living doesnt take the poor and the homeless into account. In 1962 the poor could work two jobs to survive, today they will have to work three or more to survive. Or become homeless and beggars, or resort to crime!
The reality gap is becoming more and more outrageous. The rich keep getting government handouts while the line between middle wage earners and the desperately homeless keeps going up. The lessons from history, referring to the French revolution, will soon repeat!
That is what I thought in 2008. Pretty much lost all my retirement.
As I age, my allergy to pachyderm, equine as well as male bovine excrement becomes more acute!
My bloodpressure rises, triggering severe urges to wrap my hands around the neck of the purveyor of said excrement!
Therefore to help my health, and safety of others, I refuse to have any discussions with horses asses, bull sellers, and most of all, Republicans!
One of the factory workers dropped his, or her, alarm watch during assembly, 😂
To deny any right from anyone, jeopardizes the rights of ALL!!!!
Could you look around, mine may be close by!😂
It is a clearing mouth, sometimes called a hummingbird moth. Looks like a hummingbird.
The fossil fuel industry is following the same path that whale oil did. The whalers realized the whales numbers were dwindling, some enlightened person realized that crude oil could be a worthy substitute. It was a very painful transition for the whaling companies, many of whome became the oil giants of today. Renewables won't be as profitable because once the infrastructure is established there won't be the same growth that consumables enjoy!
The fossil fuel companies will fight tooth and nail untill the benefits of sales are less than cost of extraction! The most profitable renewable is going to be algae conversion to petroleum. Again a consumable energy source!
Solar and wind will not be as profitable, therefore the rush to produce them will diminish!
If anyone is watching this post here are some more Ermine pics taken today in my driveway. There were four siblings putting on quite a show. Fast little critters hard to catch on camera.

I have a family of Ermine living in a woodpile by my driveway, Cute little critters
If you carry it in sports mode you can catch that snake catching an eagle by the tail, well in all honesty I don't think that would happen but something just as awesome might. Then when you have time to set up for that totally amazing shot of your grandkids you can take all the time you want, oh wait they move pretty fast don't they!!!
