Here is a chance for anyone that has photos of Alaska. Scenery, animals as long as it was shot in Alaska. I have been watching the Australian links and I know they would like to see views from the top of the world so here we go...

thanks eskiles and laskalass. these are great.
Wow! Just beautiful photos everyone. I'm a big fan of Alaska and the National Parks up on that side of the world. I think I have as many nature dvds on that part of the world as I do of the Himalayas (another of my favourite regions).
Please post lots more. I can never get enough of the northern countries with ice & snow in winter.
Dale, are your images taken with the camera on a tripod - they look so crisp & clear. Even with a tripod I can't get that good a focus.

No tripod, all handheld. The first photo I think I set the camera on the ground (little Canon Sureshot).
Agreed BKH42!
Lucky Alaskans have amazing scenery. I've only ever seen snow once in my life and had to travel to see that.
Must be very tricky to take pictures in snow.
Maybe the forum should have a new section called "countries" to put these threads in.
Look forward to seeing more of your beautiful land and its animals.
Fantastic stuff Alaskans, you've sold me ,i will be watching and waiting with baited breath, this really is a wonderful site, enjoying it more and more, Thank you Eskiles for starting this, and to those so quick off the mark, great posts.
