It's a Great Lakes state too.

well, it was their field and there rules so I abide by them.
This is a Western country (last I noticed). Complacency within the US regarding other cultures will result in those cultures ruling us. Also, baseball and its derivatives is a US game. Best solution for this school, don't offer Western competitive sports.

Monopod essentially the same (except missing a couple legs) as a tripod. So it is stable and could confuse the VR I would imagine.
Sarge
A monopod is not a stand-alone support and is subject to your body shakes; therefore VR seems in order.

A school in Massachusetts has decided that the song Lee Greenwood made famous is too "dangerous" for the ears of little children, unless the word "God" is left out.

Now, they've decided to remove all songs from the program.
This is one of the problems with public education. We leave it up to surrogate's to decide what is the best way to teach our kids. Parenting needs to be renewed. Take an interest in your kids' education and have a say at the Board of Ed meetings, unless they have made it a private session only.
Why do we cut down a tree and then cut it up for firewood?

It is not a bird or a plane it's inside your head. Your brain is your best camera. It will take the best photos without any equiptment and save it for as long as you life for free.
Seriously people, do not let all the cleaver marketing by those who sell all the Cannon, Nikon, Pentax etc etc etc.
tell you that their equiptment is the way to get The shot of a lifetime. All you have to do is have your camera with you at ALL times, and be AWARE of your environment. Look, experience the world through your "artistic" eyes.
Only then will you get "The Aphgan Girl" photo.
She inspired the photographer to take THAT photo.
I know he was paid to be there and shoot. He took hundreds of photos that day but only a few were that inspirational. He observed and caught the moment.

Please do better with your spelling. It reflects on your credibility as a photographer - how accurately do you make your settings?

The camera IS a photographer's brush.
Not necessarily. With all the editing software available, it's hard to recognize a photographer's true sense of perspective or artistic viewpoint in the final print.

It's "your", not "youre" and that should have been spelled "you're." How accurate are you with camera settings and editing choices if you can't spell or use a spell checker?

Did you get to "college"?
One of the worst examples of lack of care in spelling, hence perhaps lack of care in picture taking and editing.
Before you sign up, determine the level of the course. The class I attended dealt with the technology of the D() - I has D60 and was soon lost in trying to understand the technology being discussed and demonstrated. The second day dealt with editing and printing. I hadn't anticipated that it would be all about using Capture NX. Nikon pushes its own software. All that was four years ago, but do check it out. The level of expertize of the instructors is top notch. It has to be, this is a Nikon flagship program.
I now that the best time to shot would be early morning or after the sunset, but how can I shot at high noon?
"Due u no" the diff between "now" and "know"?
Use a spell checker or proof read. Errors like this make one wonder how accurate your photo editings or observations are. It's called QC.
My reaction, too. As a biker with over 250K safe miles behind me, the actions or inactions of motorists has been scary. As a former semi driver with over 1M accident-free miles behind me, I have seen stupid actions on the part of all drivers - cars, bikes and 18-wheelers. One of the little known distractions for semi drivers are company computer communications (Qualcomm) where the dispatcher and driver text while the truck is in motion. Have been guilty of that. Do not text on cell phone and only answer while driving if the road is clear and, if you do, do not carry on lengthy calls
