Cliff, watch out You're giving me the travel bug with these magnificent shots 💚💛🥇💛💚

Me too, Joe. Every time I look at them I’m ready to go back. I’ve never been there in the winter when snow is covering the mountains, and hoped I can go see that soon.

You were very, very lucky. Usually it's about 45-60 minutes.

Beautiful shots! In 1988 I took a guided nine-day raft trip down the Grand Canyon and I remember distinctly that when the Little Colorado and the Colorado met, the Little Colorado was very muddy (thus the name Colorado, color red) and it turned the beautiful, crystal clear Colorado and muddy red. I caught rainbow trout before the merge, but very few after the merge.

In your picture it doesn't look like the Little Colorado was muddy and thus didn't turn the Colorado red. I would guess that has to do with the major drought in that area.

The only memory cards that have failed on me have been a couple of SanDisk MicroSDs. Still, I think I should play it safe and order replacements for my current SD cards. A couple of my cameras have two card slots, but if one of them fails, that leaves me with just one, and if that fails...

I have two SD cards from July 2022, but the others go back several years. Yes, they work, but how long will they continue working? I've heard too many stories about people taking hundreds of pictures and having them all disappear.

Maybe you should buy another Jerry for when the first one fails. Two Jerrys??? Horrors!!!!

I have been shooting Nikon cameras since 1971 and have a question about my Nikon Z6ii camera and have been informed that I have to pay a fee to get an answer or any help. This is utterly ridiculous, un acceptable, and SORRY CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!!! Very disappointed in Nikon.

Grandpaw, try to ignore all the arguing on this thread and tell us what your problem with the camera is, maybe we'll have someone on here who can help you. Believe it or not, there are people on here who do have a lot of knowledge about cameras, I don't happen to be one of those but there are people who do.

Did you get stuck for less that an hour by the construction on Hwy. 50?

Random online allegations of poor products / services / etc tend to fall apart when more context is provided. With zero knowledge of the specifics, everyone can freely insert their own imagined version of the events, or this question.

Asking what the question is / was is an effort to help, rather than just more mob pile-on fake rage at Nikon. Guess, something you don't understand.

I don't work actively to promote my skills as a photographer, but I would like to remain active and excited about taking pictures. Lately, I have been unable to come up with things to take pictures of. I recently went to the local aquarium thinking that would be exciting, however, all my photos turned out crappy. Poor lighting/ack of lighting plus those critters don't sit still for the shot-made for a waste of time and money. What can you guys suggest i.e. places to go, things to shoot, etc. that could get me really excited about taking pictures. Seems I am lacking in the area of focusing. I recently took some Halloween photos, which I thought the focus was spot on, only to have soft pictures.
Any suggestions on my request for help would be appreciated. Thanks

What kind of camera do you have? Someone on here might be able to help if they knew what equipment you are using.
