Charles Brown or ?? surely some Nikons are dslr. Which ones are?
You are saying Nikkor lenses from a manual will work on a digital but won't use any connections? I'm new to digital - used slides and no longer available - so must switch and have little to no idea what you guys are talking about.
Could there be another big building behind the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac? It's been a long time since I was there.
Yes Pigpen, it is the Frontenac and Old Quebec City is very simple. A friend was there not long ago and I think it is much more popular now. Yes, I too would like to see it again.
They had a sort of train car that was like one in Los Angeles - made at an extreme angle to go up and down to the old city.
Do you know what Citations #2 photo can be?
It's your second photo but your first photo of Old Quebec City
I've followed you, Citation, since the beginning of 'City Landscapes" - hoping your first photo would be explained and, incidentally, seen some gorgeous photos by others as well.
My recall of the old city of Quebec City is that there is a huge old hotel above it with a surround at the edge of black wrought iron. ??????
I was a professional photographer and used mainly a Nikon 'something' Photomic _ the one that comes all apart in pieces - and a Nikkor 105mm 1.25 but shot mainly for myself as I moved around so often. Very serious about it.
One thing is very confusing to me and that I liked a 'fixed' lens and shot mainly slides/transparencies and a fixed lens was known to be clearer
Digital is another language and everything so tiny
That's nice. Thank you whoever you are
once very active before digital
want to learn digital but find difficult without SLR and no idea which digital and can't afford to play around
