The "rules" say that your photograph doesn't work, your results prove that the "rules" are made to be broken.
An excellent shot Linda.

I will and hopefully post some great shots. I am really excited about going, this will be my first really big trip going to several different countries with non US airlines including the safari planes and trucks requiring soft sided luggage and weight restrictions all on the same trip. The other issue is with camera gear I have found that TSA and airlines in other countries are way different than ours. So it is going to be an adventure.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned Pangolin Photo Safaris. Has anybody taken a tour with them? We are scheduled to go in late August to early September to Victoria Falls, Chobe, and then the Masa.

Let us know how your trip turns out, I'm thinking about doing one of their photo safaris too.

I’ve found that most people who love snow don’t have to drive to work in it, do chores in it or use an open tractor to blade 1/2 mile of driveway. All they do is play in it.

I agree with that.
I was so sick of snow by the 3rd week of Dec. last year trying to keep 3/4 mile of road open and doing livestock feeding. Then some of my buddies are talking about all the nice snow on the mountain for the snow machines

They become more than just pets, they become trusted companions, guardians, and extensions of the family.
I know how you feel at this time, we had to put down our female "Abby" a Belgian Tervuran couple months ago. I also had to put down my wife's 34 yr old sorrel geldingl"Jazz" last spring.

I have purchased from MPB and never had an issue, fast service, items were better than I was expecting. Then again it was over the internet with no interaction over the phone.

I wonder if when I do the self check out line at Sam's, if the person who scans my ticket when I go through the door to leave, could possibly give me a small tip for checking myself out. It wouldn't have to be much.

I agree, a small 10% of my bill contribution seems reasonable. But we will more likely see a tip jar at the door for their "service".

Sort of like "You are not in Kansas anymore.." except of course you are! I do wonder about the family who established this home. Thanks for commenting.

I really like #1, brings back wonderful memories of being raised in western Kansas and Hwy #36 going through my home town of Norton. The sunrise's and sunsets of Kansas are hard to beat, and you got some greats examples right there!

With all that steam coming off the locomotive how does the engineer see where he is going so he can keep the train on the tracks?
