Militant Islamist's have a stated goal of ruling the world, by force of arms, just as the NAZI party had in its time, only stricter. This militaristic philosophy is totally incompatible with the rest of the worlds society, just as the Nazi philosophy was. They allow no deviation of thought or belief, and insist that life must adhere to their view of Islam or you cannot exist. They allow no possibility of co-existence, so sadly, by their insistence we are faced with a fight to the death of one philosophy or the other.

Interesting how many white folk think Obama is racist

I would not necessarily call our President a Racist, but he surely has Racists in his Administration, judging from the way biased justice has been administered by the likes of his Atty General

There are significant numbers of people who find that acquiring a voter ID is difficult. Some are disabled, some do not have a vehicle, do not have public transportation and live too far from a government office to walk. There are places in this country, particularly in the South, where the only place they can get an ID is in the county seat which can be miles from where they live.

That response is really specious. For that situation to exist the same person would also be unable to get to a voting place, which is what the entire premise is about. If any person wants to vote and does not have the proper credentials they simply would call their political party to come and drive them to a place where they would get free ID provided to them. Is that not what "get out the vote" is all about ? The argument that anyone cannot get a valid ID is a farce.

Thank you for the article, however this does not change the fact that the same ID needed for school, job, government assistance, housing rental is the same ID needed to vote. If you are not a citizen, illegally in this country, not of voting age you are not qualified to vote and it is not unreasonable to ask for ID to prove you are qualified to vote.
This argument has no logic, people rich or poor can not do anything in this country with out ID and the only reason one would protest the requirement for voter ID is to allow unqualified people to vote, or for people to vote in the same election numerous times.

Your response was exactly correct, as is the conclusion regarding the reason for the Dems demanding that voting be the one exception for proving who you are in a legal transaction.

Okay, I admit it, this is really going to piss off some of our right wing posters but it's still worth reading to answer the question Are the Democrats declaring a war on Whites or is it simply the delusions, excuses and deflection of the GOP?

Well, I read it, and have to say it is a bitterly slanted indictment of fellow citizens who choose to vote for Republicans, and a whitewash of the U.S. Welfare system. This Tag Line of "War Against__?__" is pure propaganda that the politicos have foisted upon the electorate to justify spending obscene amounts of money on endeavors that have no results and no end. For example, our POOR population has had Trillions of dollars showered upon it for generations in all kinds of duplicitous programs, yet, 40+ years later the "Poor" have multiplied. Welfare is a way of life that goes on from one generation to the next, and in most cases it is a scam that is being perpetrated on the working stiffs of this country, aided and abetted by the politicians to buy their votes. A significant proportion of the recipients of the taxpayers largesse really are pretty consistent workers.....but they tend to work "off the books", all the while also collecting under some program or or other, be it Disability payments, Unemployment, educational stipends etc......and it is looked upon as justifiable and perfectly acceptable by both the recipient and the Bureaucracy, which just looks the other way. There are literally thousands of government programs with little or no oversight that are available to scam, and scammed they are, simply because it is PC to ignore it.
To do otherwise invites scorn and retaliation from the vested interests, and if examined, one finds those vested interests in every so called "WAR AGAINST_______"
Just calling a spade a damn shovel.

Hi I'm new at this and need your help.
My daughter bought Pinnacle 16 editing program and we both are stumped as to how it works. It's the cheapest most basic of their programs.
We are using a Sony camcorder and Pinnacle doesn't seem to want to import the format it uses without first converting it.

The program seems overly complicated, or is it that I"m just too old to catch on?

I have upgraded from Pinnacle 11.1 and 14 to 16 and I too find it quite different from earlier versions and not as intuitive. My experience has been that there has always been a problem with Pinnacle in capturing video files from the older tape format (Analog) cameras. I found it a touchy thing where sometimes it would work and other times it just would not connect. With Version 16 the program utilizes digital files and there is no problem in getting the files into the program to edit. Manipulation of the files has changed quite a bit from the earlier versions. Avid has incorporated much of their software into this version thereby changing the way it functions. I found it much more like the Sony editor then the older Pinnacle and it does take a lot more study to absorb the mechanics of it. Keep referring to the on-line help on U-Tube and you will eventually learn the program. I would say that experience with the earlier Pinnacle product is actually a hindrance and slows the learning curve somewhat.

Cat, nobody knows the whole story yet, why are you being so nasty?

Actually it has been reliably reported that NSA had intercepted and recorded via satellite, a phone conversation between the Rebels and a Russian Commander reporting that they had just shot down a plane which they had thought was a troop transport. The time stamp coincided with the airliner's demise, leaving little doubt as to who did the shooting and that the Russian Army had a hand in this monumental screw-up.

What do you think about the Governor of Oklahoma told she could visit the "refugee camp" for illegal immigrant minors in her State, but she could NOT ask questions, could NOT speak to the kids, could NOT take pictures, and could only see what they chose to show her. We are now a de facto dictatorship!

That is a sorry state of affairs when an elected chief official of a state is placed under the mandatory restrictive control of a non-elected Federal bureaucrat even when in her own state investigating a situation that directly effects her constituency.

What you say is interesting, but like so much of the noise being generated, not much is based on fact. How do you know that anything you are saying has any truth. "I heard it on Fox news or the Drudge Report" is not a good answer. Keep in mind that George Bush was preadident when Republicans and Democrats voted in the law about how unaccompanied alien children are to be processed. Obame is carrying out that law. So now the Right is accusing Obama of high crimes because he is following that law? And suppose he did not follow the law? Hey, they couuld sue or impeach him. Or both.

Although it is quite true that the law concerning aid for minor children immigrants was approved while Bush was President, that law was never meant to approve wholesale invasion of the USA by people who knowingly and blatantly have usurped that same law and twisted it to cover the situation that we now find occurring. How many more countries will we see sending their children to our borders to create "anchors" that will eventually allow entire families to enter the USA under the guise of re-uniting families? I'm sure that millions of Palestinians, Africans, Syrians, etc. would welcome a haven in the USA without having to wait in line. Now that we are advising the world that one only needs to get their children to cross our border, they too will eventually be welcomed. If our government is intent on bringing the USA down to second or third world economic levels, this is the way to do it. Flood us with the uneducated, poor, probably unhealthy of the world that cannot speak our language and add them to the hundreds of millions of people that are already dependent on Public assistance for their very existence. It is a crushing truth to find that the Political Parties will even subvert our very existence as a society to enhance their political position.
It is truly TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!

Actually, as I understand it, the last allocation for the State Dept's Embassy security was INCREASED, not reduced.

Bad Luck!!! salt water damage is usually fatal for cameras, especially digital ones. The salt is highly corrosive and gets into the electronics. Better to just start over with a new one as there will likely be residual problems even if its been overhauled.

I would recommend that you take a look at the panasonic bridge cameras. I have the FZ47 and FZ 60 series and really love them. They offer extraordinary long lens capability and the Leica lens produce very sharp images. Prices are quite moderate for what you get. Good Hunting!

Stupid. It is surviving and will only expand. As for the cost going up just has not shown to happen.

No question that ACA will expand as long as the government bails it out each year. Nothing succeeds like "Free Stuff" for the mass's, BUT, eventually schemes like ACA become untenable because they are just not fiscally sound without what ultimately become draconian Taxes, or the level of service becomes so bad that the public will no longer tolerate it. One or the other will happen with the ACA program if it is allowed to play out.

Good Lord.....Why bother with a lie or distortion about Obama or his cohorts when there is so many truthful reasons to object to what this administration has done and continues to do to transform our way of life to his vision of utopia. His actions once he gained office fly in the face of what he promised while a Senator and while campaigning for POTUS. Sure makes the story about the Manchurian Candidate come to life.

I have been using SD cards for both photography and general data transfer for many years and have only experienced a loss of data one time, and that was due to someone aboard a cruise ships photo shop zapping it somehow. I lost the pictures but reformatted the card and am still using it successfully almost 10 years later. It appeared that it had been degaussed somehow while the data was attempting to be transferred to a CD. The "Tech" claimed the only thing he recalls happening was he dropped the card on the carpeted floor when he removed it from the camera. I guess it could have got a static charge from that but that is only supposition. BTW, I prefer using large capacity, Class 10 cards from any of the well known manufacturers. I avoid the non branded imports for photo's as a general policy, but have never had any bad experiences when I have occasionally used them. Hope this might help someone.
