Okay, I admit it, this is really going to piss off some of our right wing posters but it's still worth reading to answer the question Are the Democrats declaring a war on Whites or is it simply the delusions, excuses and deflection of the GOP?

Unfortunately, the "true" believers are immune to facts. This will probably not annoy the right wingers -- they will probably respond that it is part of the conspiracy and PROVES that the Democrats are warring on white people.

Well Frank, it doesn't "piss me off" at all. I see a slanted view from someone who wants to see America as a country without borders and a total socialist society where everyone is taken care of by the government.
I don't believe this can work because such a system rewards people who are non productive and discourages others from becoming productive.
This author sees illegal aliens as refugees who need to be taken care of, and maybe some are, but it is simply not practical to take care of everyone who walks across our border the fact that they are breaking our laws when they do so not withstanding.
I don't agree with his statement that white people abuse drugs on a higher percentage than other races, he quoted no references and no proof of that statement.
This country is in decline, and our welfare system is creating generations of people who see no need to take care of themselves, after all their needs are met and they can obtain the luxuries the wish by means other than the more traditional method of using funds that are earned and delaying extra purchases until they have the funds to purchase such items.
Our welfare system and our non enforcement of our border policies will, unless changed, will bring us to the point of collapse.
I am not against welfare for those who need it, but I personally have seen many abuses or this program and it needs to be modified to encourage people to strive for self sufficiency rather than simply a better way to work the system.

Frank, be honest you don't want to discuss this. You aren't starting a discussion, you are simply yelling into the wind to hear your own voice.

People will recongize that basically you are pissing into the wind, and aren't intelligent enough to understand why you are getting wet.

Ux,
I didn't write the article. I merely showed you the link. Feel free to disagree with me and engage in an intelligent and civil discussion but insulting my intelligence is not only rude considering you have no idea who I am. Your comment just makes you look bitter and uneducated.
Have a blessed day.

Are there really any Democrats? All I see is socialist and liberals wanting to give away everyone' else's money but there own.

It amazes me that the billionaire liberals denounce capitalism but have benefited greatly from it...

   The donkeycrats have given their entire mantra to every socialist/liberal cause known to man...even to ones that haven't been invented yet.

"Liberalism is a disease - the only cure is common sense."

Rick,
One might ask the same question about Republicans. I mean what we hear are mostly bitter old men who want to return to 1950 and take the vote away from minorities and women.
We on the left can meet you in the middle, but over the course of the last ten years or so, you've moved the middle so far to the right that it isn't even visible from the middle anymore.

"What you hear???" What rabid spew are you listening to? Take the vote away from minorities? WTF? Oh, because we'd like to see ALL voters verify who they actually are with some form of FREE identification? The same identification they need to operate a motor vehicle, acquire a library card, cash a welfare check, open a bank account, or fly? God forbid we should "disenfranchise" anyone with a basic necessity...

I have never understood your assertion that conservatives want to take the vote from anyone. You constantly refer to this and I have never seen an instance of it.

It is nearly impossible to reason with democrats and liberals. You just need to look at their (your) representatives. They have a double standard for everything they represent.

Look at the democratic controlled states. High unemployment, highest number of welfare recipients, food stamps, subsidized housing, heat assistance, and the list goes on.

Where do you think those dollars come from? Citizens that work for a living keep paying for those who choose to take and take.

The democrats want to keep their supporters at the public trough by feeding them koolade and bs.

Remember - all politicians play to their own constituency. They say what they think their constituents want to hear. They hopefully know that reality is different.

I would like to see the source of this statement (and no, I don't consider Faux-TV a valid "source" of information) . From what I have read, the states that receive more money from the federal government than they put in are mostly southern Republican-controlled states - where most of the loud anti-Democratic yapping comes from.
