I should have mentioned the type of camera I was using to begin with. Just didn't think of it.
Thanks everyone for your input. I will keep all of your suggesting in mind when I try again.
I didn't use a flash, only the light from a window behind me.
This is a picture of my great granddaughter. I had her pose about 5 feet in front of a white sheet. I know the sheet shows up gray, so my white balance must be off. How do I fix it?
They are beautiful pictures! Did you enhance the color? I can't make my pictures come out that brillant. Would love to know how to do that.
Keep the pictures coming. I could lose myself in them.
Hi Dave, I'm also a fairly newcomer. I've really enjoyed the photos and comments posted. I lived in Montana for a short time. It was beautiful where I lived, but at the time of year I was here, I had a hard time with the weather, being from semi-desert part of the country. Keep the photos coming.
This was taken about 2 years ago. All we have in this part of the country now is sandstorms.
It's hard to find anything worth photographing in the dead of winter in the drought stricken plains of New Mexico, but I really enjoy seeing the scenery in other parts of the country. Keep up the good work.
on the first one, maybe should have cropped the purse and legs out of the left side. The last one with you in it, is really nice.
Really a nice picture. Sure beats the tumbleweeds rolling by my home today.
You have received a lot of good info. For your first try, it was good. Keep trying.
Thanks for the advise. I didn't notice the seam in the wall until you brought it to my attention. I need all the help I can get.
