You should be proud the BSA is a good program and it builds leadership and character. If the right leaders are in place at the troop level. My boys were fortunate to have a great Scoutmaster. That was a great roll model.
Goes to show how wrong you are, more than 80% of adult leaders in the Boy Scouts are female and are single parents. The BSA is a good program unfortunately like every thing else there are a few rotten apples in every bunch.
Both of my boys are Eagle Scouts. The USA was the only country in the world that did not have coed scouting.
I think it is a great idea in these isolated times.
I store my equipment with desiccated packs. Live in South TX for over 30 years and never had an issue. I keep the packets in the camera bags all the time and charge them out once a year.
I’m interested but need to wait till everything blows over.
