No disrespect to the gender, but the girls have Girl Scout and Brownies. If the Girl Scout program wasn't as exciting as the Boy Scouts, they should of change their program to include the activities that were of better interest/exciting to them.

You are a couple of decades behind on that news. Eagle and Explorer Troops were mixed back in the 90's at least. As well as a few regular troops.
Once about 2004 when my students found out I was an assistant Girl Scout Troop Leader and "Cookie Dad" they started to laugh. (Drafted, when my wife became troop leader she needed an assistant-I was told that I was it. Then I got told, and you are also "Cookie Dad".) One of the girls in the class (11th graders) jumped in with "So what? I've been a Boy Scout since 6th grade. I have 6 older brothers and my Dad has been a Troop Leader over 20 years. When Mom needed to do stuff she made him take me along so they just signed me up as a member."
That year she joined the Police Explorer Troop on campus. She wanted to be a cop.

Right on, from and 86 year old who earned eagle scout w/silver palm award in early teens. Also, no swishers or transgenders. Perverts could form their own deviant group to satisfy the perverted world government crowd. How many of you can recall the Boy Scout Oath? THAT was the short words of wisdom to live by.

Our program is plenty enough for the girls. The Boy Scouts are struggling with debt and a bad name, so trying to get members that way. Girls in my area can do anything the Boy Scouts can do and sometimes better. (And my husband and son were Boy Scouts, one of them an Eagle Scout.)
