Caught this beauty ready to get her feet wet on the east side of Chokoloskee Bay, in Everglades National Park. She was looking forward to a morning of fishing for breakfast. Please enjoy the download

Very good set Rockdog, he is not lost, he just doesn't know where he is.

Thanks Earnest! That description fits me more accurately than the hawk.

These are lovely shots, Phil. I love #3 where he is sort of looking over his shoulder like he couldn't care less what you are doing!

Thanks Carol! He was fairly comfortable but if I had opened the car door.....he would have been gone.

I don't know what happened to my date/time stamp in exif, but these were all shot within an hour last year, on a very smoky morning.

The changes in sun color between the first two are close to reality. #3 an #4 are reflections in a pond, plus the raven has been added - as has a texture

I welcome your impressions, feedback, edits. Many thanks!

Way to work it my friend! For me all four are successful due to your compositional skills and thoughtful use of this unwelcome light. We have certainly had our opportunities to work with this sad light in the last two years.

Well, this beautiful creature has probably never been lost for one second of its predatory life, but the folder with these photos has been lost in the swamp I call my files for more than two years. I intended to post these as an example of the value of changing point of view to present a different aspect of a subject. The first two were taken from a different POV than the last three. I have posted a number of topics on the advantages of using your vehicle as a blind when shooting wildlife. My point here is that I have had far more success in changing POV without disturbing my subject by just moving the blind a few feet to the left or right.

This is street photography - my style. My cameras are far from discrete and I am usually uncomfortable snapping pictures of strangers on the street. Fortunately, these folks didn't seem to mind at all. I am in awe of the artists who designed and executed this extensive and detailed historic mural.

Most, if not all, of the buildings in the mural can be seen from the small park directly in front of the mural. Some of the people depicted are real citizens who played a part in the history of Bucyrus. The entire mural is 34 feet high and 130 feet wide. If you download the 9th photo you will be able to read about the significance of the different areas that are included. No. 10 is an overview of the central section.

Fun Carol! Pictures within pictures, there is no end to the possibilities. Nice work.

Beautiful and inspiring set Donna! I have had the NIK program for a couple of years....it is time I learned to make more creative use of it.

PB zoo is noted for it's huge trees and consequent low light/shadows that challenge.

I wanted to test a older Tokina 80-200 f2.8 with a Sigma 1.4X extender that I have with the Sony A77II. I really do not recommend extenders in low light - as the ISO goes necessarily high when compared to using Sony's Clear Image Zoom - but I really wanted to see how well the Tokina and Sigma worked together.

Fun set Larry! Cool Otter shot.
