Lost Hawk

Well, this beautiful creature has probably never been lost for one second of its predatory life, but the folder with these photos has been lost in the swamp I call my files for more than two years. I intended to post these as an example of the value of changing point of view to present a different aspect of a subject. The first two were taken from a different POV than the last three. I have posted a number of topics on the advantages of using your vehicle as a blind when shooting wildlife. My point here is that I have had far more success in changing POV without disturbing my subject by just moving the blind a few feet to the left or right.

These are lovely shots, Phil. I love #3 where he is sort of looking over his shoulder like he couldn't care less what you are doing!

Thanks Carol! He was fairly comfortable but if I had opened the car door.....he would have been gone.
